High-Energy Artistry, Grounded in Craft
Christopher Cinquini works across three disciplines — conducting, string performance, and music technology — with the same approach in each: energized musicianship, precise preparation, and results that hold up under the pressure of opening night.
As a conductor, Christopher serves as Music Director of the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra and Director of Orchestras at Boyertown Area Senior High School — a community recognized by NAMM as a "Best Community for Music Education." As Principal Conductor of Berks Opera Company, his 2015 production of Gounod's Faust was named the Reading Eagle's Newsmaker of the Year — the region's most prominent cultural distinction. He has also been invited as a guest conductor for multiple PMEA String Fest and District Orchestra festivals throughout Districts 11 and 12.
As a freelance violinist and violist, Christopher has performed alongside Josh Groban, Cyndi Lauper, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Itzhak Perlman, Sarah Brightman, Il Divo, Il Volo, Disturbed, Hanson, Denée Benton, and Rita Wilson, with string appearances at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre, The Kimmel Center, and Heinz Hall.
For musical theatre and live productions, Christopher designs and delivers complete click-track systems, Dante audio network configurations, QLab cue integrations, and Logic Pro and Mainstage builds — ensuring every show runs with precision from tech week through closing night.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Music Performance in Orchestral Conducting from West Chester University. He has led international performance tours in the Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, and England, as well as domestic tours to New York, Boston, and Washington, D.C.
